The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power data pipelines, and bringing actionable insights through data processing and analysis, and hands-on testing in lab. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and its electrical characteristics.What You Will Do:Development of system power characterization test plans for battery runtime validationPower Consumption measurement of various device use cases done in on-site lab environmentMonitoring test results, analyze data and correlate measurements against estimatesDebugging power regressionsCreate and maintain web-based dashboards to track build to build power measurements.Support the design scripts to automate lab equipment for remote testing for long duration tests (hours to weeks). Also, develop test scripts for device power automation and assist with dashboard data reportingCreating scripts to analyze raw measurements and logs from the DUTsHands-on hardware bench testingHands-on full Form-Factor testing within lab conditions.What You Will Bring:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in Power consumption measurement of various device use cases done in on-site lab environments including oscilloscopes, power supplies, power measurement equipments, DMMs.Proven experience writing and maintaining softwares for data processing and analysisExperience working with consumer electronics hardware research and development in a lab environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to spearhead troubleshooting efforts via ad-hoc data analysis.Effective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Highly organized, able to prioritize and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines.Ability to network, build relationships and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization.Experience with SQL Databases, DAG pipelines, and data pre-processing.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience with data engineering frameworks such as Apache Hive, Apache Airflow, Spark SQL, or AWS S3 and EC2Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.
