To support a growing national wealth management firm, the remote Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensure timely vendor payments, and assist with monthly close activities while working within the EST time zone. Key responsibilities: Own the accounts payable process, including vendor payments, setup, and inquiries Assist with monthly close procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounting functions Required qualifications: Four-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in accounting or finance Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with an emphasis in accounts payable/receivable Working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles Experience with enterprise-grade accounting software, preferably Microsoft Business Central Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
